Seller standards
What sellers must do to list on Dark Shop and keep their verification.

Draft: requires legal review before launch.
This text describes how the marketplace is built to work. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet a binding agreement.
Verification before listing
- Every seller tells us who they are, and businesses give their registered name, and a reviewer approves them before they can list.
- Categories that require it (such as AI tools, software, and music and entertainment) need an approved brand authorization: a reseller agreement, partner program or other proof that you may sell that brand’s offers.
- We may ask for more evidence at any time and pause listings while we check.
What every listing must include
- An accurate title, summary and description. Facts go in the listing fields, not the title.
- The delivery method and everything it requires: an https redemption link for offers redeemed on a brand’s site, uploaded authorized codes or keys for code and digital delivery, a delivery time for seller-fulfilled work, and a billing period for subscriptions.
- Step-by-step redemption instructions, the terms buyers agree to, eligibility, region and platform restrictions.
- A refund rule allowed for that delivery method.
Prices and claims
- A reference price must be higher than your price and link to where that price is publicly charged. It appears only after we check it.
- No fake urgency: no invented end dates, stock limits or countdowns. End dates must be real and are shown as dates.
- No reviews you wrote, paid for or asked for in exchange for anything.
Delivery and support
- Deliver within the time you stated. Missed deadlines let the buyer cancel for a full refund.
- Codes and keys must be unused and authorized when uploaded. Duplicate codes are rejected automatically.
- Never ask a buyer for their password. Activations happen on the buyer’s own account through an authorized route.
Category rules
- AI tools: plans must be activated on the buyer’s own account through an authorized promotion or reseller agreement. Shared logins, pooled seats and account resale are prohibited.
- Software and SaaS: keys must come from the publisher or an authorized distributor, with region and platform restrictions stated. Grey-market and volume-license keys are prohibited.
- Music and entertainment: only official gift cards, codes or partner promotions. Family-plan slots and shared accounts are prohibited.
- Shopping and lifestyle: codes must come from the retailer or an affiliate program that permits redistribution.
- Travel and rides: state eligible cities, dates and first-ride or new-user restrictions.
- Digital products: you must own or license what you sell.
- Services: state deliverables, turnaround and revision limits.
Enforcement
Listings that break these standards are sent back for changes, paused or removed. Repeated or serious breaches lead to suspension of the seller account, which takes all listings down. We tell you the reason, and you can respond through the seller dashboard.
