Why sell here
Built for sellers with nothing to hide
Delivery that runs itself
Upload codes or keys once. Each sale is assigned one and delivered to the buyer's order as soon as the payment provider confirms payment.
Encrypted from the moment you upload
Every code is encrypted before it is stored and never shown back in full. Only the buyer who paid can reveal it, in their order.
Duplicates caught on upload
Paste codes or upload a .txt or .csv file, up to 500 at a time. Repeats are dropped, and codes already in the listing are rejected.
Honest offers are not buried
Sellers and listings are reviewed, discounts show only against a checked reference price, and fake countdowns are not allowed.
Refund rules set before the sale
Choose a rule your delivery method allows. Buyers see it before checkout, and it is saved with each order, so it cannot shift later.
A seller page buyers can check
Your public page shows when you were approved and which statements a reviewer checked, next to your live listings.
How it works
From application to payout in seven steps
A person reviews you once, then each listing. Your dashboard shows where everything stands.
Apply
Create a seller profile: public name, country, support email and, for companies, the registered legal name. Verify your email, then submit.
Get reviewed
A reviewer reads your details and decides. Prepare drafts while you wait. If you are not approved, you see why and can resubmit.
List
Create a listing with its delivery method, price, terms and instructions. Request brand authorization first where the category needs it.
Get checked
Each listing is reviewed before it goes live. Later changes to price, terms, delivery or dates send it back for review.
Sell
Live listings appear in the catalog and on your seller page. Stock comes from your uploaded codes or the quantity you set.
Deliver
Codes and keys deliver automatically. For services, deliver from Orders before your deadline with a message only the buyer can read.
Get paid
Payouts run through our payment provider once they open. Until then every sale is recorded and your dashboard shows estimates.
Your dashboard
Everything you run, in one place
Listings, code inventory, orders, verification and payout estimates. This is a preview with example data.
- ListingsDrafts, review status, reviewer notes, pause and resume.
- InventoryUpload codes, see available, reserved and delivered counts, void unsold codes.
- OrdersOrders to deliver by hand, with their deadlines and an overdue flag.
- VerificationIdentity, business and brand authorization requests and their decisions.
- PayoutsEstimated earnings from delivered orders, after commission.
Fees and payouts
One commission, charged only when you sell
- Commission
- Of each paid sale. Refunded items are not charged.
- Applying
- Free
- No application or monthly fee.
- Listing fee
- None
- Drafts and reviews cost nothing.
- Buyer fees
- None
- We add no platform fee at checkout.
How payouts work
Payouts go through our payment provider. You connect a payout account from your seller dashboard, and the provider verifies your identity and bank details. We never see or store your bank number.
The payout schedule and any provider fees are set when payouts open, and will be published here first. Your dashboard estimates earnings from delivered, non-refunded orders minus the commission.
Seller standards
The rules every listing follows
Reviewers check these before a listing goes live, and listings that break them are sent back, paused or removed.
Every listing needs
- An accurate title, summary and description, with facts in the listing fields
- The delivery method and everything it requires
- Redemption steps, terms, eligibility, region and platform
- A refund rule allowed for that delivery method
- A reference price only with a public source; it shows after we check it
- Real end dates only: no countdowns, stock limits or reviews you arranged
Never allowed
- Shared, pooled or resold accounts and logins
- Family-plan slots sold outside the household
- Grey-market, volume-license or region-arbitrage keys
- Cracked, nulled, leaked or keygen software
- Pirated, scraped or resold creator files
- Reselling a single-use code more than once
- Discounts against a price nobody paid
- Implying a brand partnership you do not have
The four refund rules
Pick one your delivery method allows. Whatever the rule, a buyer can still ask for a refund when an item was not delivered, a code was invalid or the offer was not as described; our team checks and decides.
- Refundable until revealed
- The buyer can get a full refund until they reveal the code. After that, only if it does not work.
- Refundable within a set window
- The buyer can ask for a refund within the number of days you set after delivery.
- Refund if not delivered
- A refund only if the order is not delivered as described or on time.
- Final sale
- No refund once delivered, unless it does not work as described.
Questions
Questions before you apply
Something not covered?
The seller standards explain every rule in full. Signed in, you can also ask support, and a person replies.
Read the seller standardsWho can apply?
Individuals and companies with a Dark Shop account and a verified email address. Companies give their registered legal name. To list a brand in AI tools, software and SaaS, or music and entertainment, you also need an approved brand authorization for that brand.
How does the review work?
A reviewer reads your seller details and decides. While you wait you can prepare draft listings and verification requests. If you are not approved, your dashboard shows the reason and you can update your details and resubmit.
How long does a review take?
There is no fixed time yet: each application is read by a person. Your dashboard shows the status of your profile and of every listing at each stage.
Do you need my ID documents?
No. Verification on Dark Shop is a statement plus an optional evidence reference that a reviewer reads. When payouts open, our payment provider runs its own identity and bank checks; we never store ID documents or bank numbers.
What does it cost to sell?
Applying and listing are free. A platform commission is taken from each paid sale, and refunded items are not charged. Buyers pay no platform fee. The current rate is shown in the fees section above and in your dashboard.
When do I get paid?
Payouts run through our payment provider: you connect a payout account and the provider handles identity checks, transfers and statements. Until payouts open, every sale is recorded and your dashboard shows estimated earnings from delivered orders.
How are my codes protected?
Each code or key is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown back in full, not even to you. It is assigned to an order only after payment is confirmed, and only the buyer who paid can reveal it.
What if I change a listing after it is live?
Changes to what a buyer is promised, such as price, terms, delivery method, redemption link, refund rule or dates, send the listing back to review and hide it until it is approved again. Stock and per-order limits can change without review.
What happens if a buyer says a code does not work?
Under every refund rule, a buyer can ask for a refund when an item was not delivered, a code was invalid or the offer was not as described. Our team checks the evidence and decides; it is not automatic.
Can I pay for placement or create my own promo codes?
No. There are no paid placements, and promo codes are created by the platform only.
