Who we are and what we do

Dark Shop (“Dark Shop”, “we”) runs an online marketplace where independent, approved sellers list digital offers: codes, licenses, files, subscriptions, services and links to redeem offers on a brand’s own site.

Unless a listing says otherwise, the seller is the party selling the offer to you. Dark Shop operates the marketplace, verifies sellers, reviews listings before publication, processes payment through a hosted payment provider, and handles refunds and disputes as described in these terms and the refund policy.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
• We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or to break these terms. We will tell you why unless the law or an investigation prevents it.

Listings and what we check

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. We check the seller’s verification, the listing’s terms and eligibility, the delivery method, any redemption destination, and any reference price the seller claims. Verification means we checked those facts at the time of review. It is not a guarantee from the brand named in the listing, and brands are not responsible for listings unless they are the seller.

A crossed-out reference price is shown only when we checked it against a public price. Stock levels and end dates shown on a listing come from the seller’s listing and our records.

Buying

The price, delivery method, eligibility, terms and refund rule shown on a listing at checkout form part of your purchase. We keep a copy of those terms with your order.

An order is confirmed only when our payment provider confirms payment. Delivery then happens according to the listing’s delivery method:

• On the brand's website. You finish on the brand's own website. We send you to a destination we checked, and the brand's terms apply there.
• Code or gift card. An authorized code is assigned to you after payment is confirmed. It stays hidden until you reveal it in your order.
• Instant digital delivery. A license key or download is delivered to your order as soon as the payment provider confirms payment.
• Fulfilled by seller. The seller completes your order within the stated time. If they miss it, you can cancel for a full refund.
• Subscription or service. The seller activates an authorized subscription or service for you. You never share your password with anyone.

Some offers have eligibility rules set by the brand, such as new customers only or a region. Check them before you buy. An offer you are not eligible for may not be refundable if the listing stated the rule.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider through a hosted checkout. Your card details go to the provider directly; Dark Shop does not see or store full card numbers. Prices are shown in the listing currency and include any fees shown at checkout. No tax is added at checkout today; if that changes, the tax will be shown before you pay.

Refunds

Refunds follow the refund policy and the rule shown on each listing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

What you may not do

• Resell, share or publish codes or keys in breach of the brand’s terms.
• Use the marketplace for fraud, money laundering, or to buy with a payment method you are not authorized to use.
• Post reviews about orders you did not receive, or offer or accept anything in exchange for a review.
• Interfere with the service, scrape it at a harmful rate, or try to access other people’s accounts or orders.

Sellers

Sellers also agree to the seller standards and the prohibited listings policy. Sellers are responsible for having the right to sell what they list and for delivering it as described.

Liability

We provide the marketplace with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by a brand’s own service, by events outside our reasonable control, or that were not foreseeable. Our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect and apply only to purchases made after that date. Questions go to support through your account.
